Yesterday I started testing with the libraries and examples, and these are the results:

What code are you running and just what are we looking at in the top picture? I don't have a printer so I don't know what it should look like. Have you tried pulling out about 6 inches of paper and trying again in case the paper is bad? It also says you need 1.5 amps of power so your power supply should be OK.
