PIR Motion Sensor

I am planning on using this PIR motion sensor in a project and had a couple questions. If this sensor was attached to the back of a moving car would the sensor be set off by the parked cars on the side of the road that you pass? Also can the sensing range (120 degree cone) be made smaller (60 degree cone as example)?

Question 1, yes it would. Question 2 probably by restricting the view but you have to be careful in the materials you choose so they do not transmit or reflect IR.
