Hi,
If I wanted to build a Pro-Trinket clone with embedded debugging capability, can I just integrate the FTDI friend design to the pro-trinket FTDI header?
Also can I just use a RS232RL chip off the shelf (i.e plug and play) on my design? or would I need to get a signed driver from FTDI?
Can I load the default Arduino bootloader into my pro-trinket clone design?
Thanks

Re: Pro-trinket clone
This is part of the design process and will depend on what you want your final product to do. It is no longer a "clone" if you are modifying the design, you will have to do the research on what will work for you.

Re: Pro-trinket clone
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I think "clone" was the wrong word.
I guess what I wanted to clarify is that can I connect a FTDI RS232RL chip directly to where the FTDI pins are on the Pro-trinket board. Is that possible? Thanks.
