Broken Pixel on Digital RGB LED Weatherproof Strip - LPD8806

Post by blackbarlow »

I just got a delivery of my order and in it I purchased a Digital RGB LED Weatherproof Strip - LPD8806 32 LED - (1m) PRODUCT ID: 306, when I plugged it into my arduino, downloaded the appropriate library and ran the strandtest sketch, I saw that one of my pixels is damaged. The green portion of the LED does not light, and that causes the whole led to display the incorrect color any time a green value is needed. Can someone help me with this?
