I currently have an sound FX and would like to have the sound wired in two different areas.
The sounds that I have stored are .wav format and are mono not stereo.
Currently I have one speaker connected to the 'R' speaker output on the screw down connector.
My question is for the second speaker is.....Can I use a standalone amplifier to the onboard 'R' pinout and ground to play the same sound through it?

Re: Sound FX Board
You can send the signal from the R output to any device you want as long as those devices do not load the output beyond it's limits. In theory it should work fine.

Re: Sound FX Board
I would be using a 4 or 8 ohm speaker.
Could I use your 2.8W or 3.7W amplifier?
And would the 20W be too much of a load?
Thanks for your quick response.

Re: Sound FX Board
Any of the amplifiers can accept input from the FX Board. They present a very small load at their inputs.
All of the amps will work with 40 ohm or 8 ohm speakers. The 3.7v amp will give you a bit more volume than the 2.8W amp if you use 4 ohm speakers. The 20W amp can provide even more power, but needs a supply voltage higher than 5v if you want it to do more than the 3.7W amp.
