Bluetooth EZ-Link

Post by nholtom »

I purchased an Adafruit EZ-link a few months ago, and am having trouble getting it to pair with any device.
https://www.adafruit.com/product/1588

On my windows 8 computer with Bluetooth 4.0, it shows up in the bluetooth menu.

It then fails to pair on numerous computers and android devices.

I ahve checked the wiring and it is set up exactly how it should be in the schematic.

Is there any way to reset the module to fix this problem?

There's a small pushbutton up by the GND pin.

Press and hold that for five seconds to make the EZ-Link dump any stored information about a current pairing and advertise itself as avaialble for new pairing. Wait until the LED starts blinking quickly.

That clarifies things.. thank you.

There's no reflash the module's firmware in the field. How long have you had the EZ-Link?

Sorry for the late reply.

November is outside our standard replacement period, but send a note to [email protected] with a link to this thead and the folks there will work out a deal with you for a replacement.
