Hi:
Have gotten an arduino uno r3 starter pack as I want to:
read ambient greenhouse temperature
start cooler on low speed with temperature rise
turn pump on with further temperature rise
turn cooler on high speed with further temperature rise
turn circulator on (circulate 500 gallons water) to warm water when temp is above say 70 when water is cooler than ambient temperature. (differential type thermostat)
turn circulator on when temperature drops below say 55 (differential type thermostat)
have it to operate dpdt relays to handle 120VAC 8 amp+
Hopefully there is a starter pact that will come close to these needs.
maybe later operate vents
Where can I find stuff to build & write program for differential thermostat without reinventing the wheel?
Thank you,
Chuck

Re: arduino starter
There is nothing that we sell that will encompass all your needs in one package but most of what you want to do can be done with parts from Adafruit except the DPDT relays which you could get from many suppliers like Mouser or DigiKey.

Which Arduino r3 starter kit would be most relevant?franklin97355 wrote:There is nothing that we sell that will encompass all your needs in one package but most of what you want to do can be done with parts from Adafruit except the DPDT relays which you could get from many suppliers like Mouser or DigiKey.
