GPS Module is dead

Post by sthiruvikram »

Hello, I've got a non-responsive GPS Breakout Board. The LED does not blink and the rx tx pins are dead as well. Is there any way to get this fixed? Thanks for your time.

Could you post large, clear, detailed pictures of both sides of your board and the connections to it? Pictures should be less than 1meg in size. 800x600 works well.

Sorry for the late response, was away on summer vacation. I've attached the pictures. I've been working with these for prototyping quite a lot. Two other similar modules work well with the same program and connections.

The other module (same product) works perfectly in this USV.

Move the power connection to Vin rather than the 3.3v pin. That one is actually an output.
