all-
i recently assembled my tv-b-gone; however it does not work. the green led does indeed light up and pulse when the button is pressed, however no infrared commands are sent when viewed by camera )and no tv responds to the unit). can anyone spot any issues with my soldering? any specific joints/components i should check?

You seem to have quite a few solder joints in which the solder has not flowed very well.
Have a look at our Guide to Excellent Soldering.
In general, solder joints should be smooth and shiny, and look like this:
