Yes, if you program the 'off' code into it.

1. Find out what kind of projector you want to turn off.
2. Find the off/power code for it (here's a good database: http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/codes/)
3. Program the code into your TV B gone

How do add the code? Is it just copy/paste kind of thing...or?

How can I reprogram the TV-B-Gone kit?
Because of the limited number of pins and other elements of the kit, programming the kit requires a little modification. For the latest version, removing R1 1.0k resistor (or cutting one side) will allow it to be programmed.
For earlier kits, unfortunately, all four 47 ohm resistors must be removed (or one side cut).
You can download the code here and modify it to your needs. https://learn.adafruit.com/tv-b-gone-kit/download
