Hi!
I recently built a TV-B-Gone and would like to add some IR-codes to the firmware, so that I am also able to turn off projectors. My problem is, that all the codes I can find on the Web are written for universal remote controls. I saw on the TV-B-Gone page that there is a perl script to convert these codes, but couldn't find it in the download section or somewhere else on the Web.
Do you know a better website as http://www.remotecentral.com/cgi-bin/codes to find new IR-Codes that can be used for the TV-B-Gone?
Is there a way to get the perl script or another script to convert the codes?
Greetings from Switzerland

not sure, we used our own datacapture, you could probably write a perl script like ours to do the conversion or do it by hand like we show

Hello,
Can you please explain how you did the data capture of the universal remote that resulted in the .dat files?
The parsegen3.pl operates on the .dat files (from the firmware archive) to generate the compressed data in structs.
I ran rawirdecode.pde on an Arduino that generates the IRsignal array uncompressed.
Is there an of the shelf solution available to capture the .dat files in the same structure on the Arduino (or is maybe it not fast enough)?
Best regards,
Hessel.

I found this on the web ... any idea how it works? It says "Just input the Pronto IR Codes and my program will spit out the corresponding codes for TV-B-Gone"... I wonder if i should place those two php files on a web server?
