Hello,
I purchased a TV-B-Gone Kit to assemble with my son Ross. We made it to the micro test step, but the LED does not flash. Here is what we have done to date:
• Used good ESD practices.
• Inspected for open traces, good solder joints, and there are no shorts under high magnification.
• Tested the LED (works fine, normal voltage drop)
• Checked to assure power is at the micro with new alkaline batteries.
I’m not sure what else to do. Is there a chance that the micro is un-programmed? Is there any state of the micro that would yield an un-flashing LED?
I'll try a few things listed in the forum here too.
Thanks in advanced for any help you can provide.
