RIP TV-B-Gone
Nov. 2009 - Dec 2011.
Is there any hope that the chip or other components could have survived this fatal, laundry-induced torture my wife has administered on my trusty sidekick?
Thank you
My TV-B-Gone was washed and dried.

Let it dry out thoroughly & give it a try.

I'm actually a little puzzled what on there would not be fine once dried.
Maybe a pushbutton? Many can be dis-assembled for cleaning, at the risk of losing small parts and having to replace the switch.
EDIT: of course there's the possibility of ESD from static charge generation in the dryer...
