This was a special stocking-stuffer build. The recipient definitely appreciated it, but it was hard to let it go !!! I've been wanting to build something in that tic-tac box for a while now.

The battery and mini-USB charging port were salvaged from old devices. It's built on stripboard and uses the v2 software that was uploaded here recently (changed so that mode 2 is now the default mode). There's only one IR LED but it is still plenty powerful. The output stage is a single high-power SMT transistor.
