Looks like a pretty clean build. Does it start transmitting as soon as you power up?

It does. Even without the switch installed.

OK. That is normal. And does the visible led flash after each cycle through the codes? How many times per cycle?

The visible LED flashes a few times a second for ~100 flashes. I assume now that this is normal, but it looked like an error when I powered it up.

@Wimbley your not hijacking the thread. I still have the issue with mine and haven't done anything. I just happened to view all posts I made and saw there was new activity. I have the same issue where I don't have to push the switch. As soon as batteries are inserted it cycles codes and doesn't stop. I will try measuring the diagonal connections on the switch and see what I get.
