TV-B-Gone in altoids mints tin ?

Hey all,

Do you know if the TV-B-Gome kit fits the altoids mints sized tin (https://www.adafruit.com/products/97) if I replace the battery holder ?

That could be a nice case for that kit !

The circuit board will fit no problem. If you power it with one of the flat-pack LiPo cells you should have plenty of room in there.

The stock battery holder will fit, too! You just need to bow out the tin just a tiny bit in the middle. Once you do that, you can get the holder in and push it to one side leaving enough space for the rest of the guts. I just built this and the following videos were helpful to me:
