pir motion sensor

Hi, I have purchased an event control timer for halloween props and my PIR
sensors i bought are just like yours with the little boards, but I need a normally open sensor and
mine are not. My timer runs the sensor on low voltage and has the spots for
3 wires, red, yellow, and black but it triggers on closed circuit. Could
anyone please help me figure out what to buy for a normally open PIR sensor. It
has to work on 5 to 12 volts dc.

Thank you. Do these sensors come with the 3 wires attached, or do i need to buy the hookups for them?

Just keep the Vcc below 6V absolute max...

the wires are not attached - this is because people often have varying ideas of how long the wires should be. its easy to solder them up tho

Yes. Or a relay. Or just buy the LA sensor that works the right way...
