The data sheet for the LSM303 (on my Aadafruit IMU-9DOF) mentions a high pass filter mode, CTRL_REG2_A register.
Unfortunately no discussion of how this works! Has anybody any experience with this?
In my target application (a basic Inertial Navigation System for model planes), I need to remove static-g from readings.
A smart high pass filter on the chip might save me a lot of 3D trig calculations :-)
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Re: LSM303 accelerometer high pass filter settings?
I believe that the high-pass mode is designed for that purpose. But I don't have an experience using it. You might try posting the query over at DIY-Drones. They know that territory best.
