I'm brand new to this stuff, apologies in advance for the n00b posting, hoping this is in the right place. Here goes:
I'm interested in the Mini Pan-Tilt Kit - Assembled with Micro Servos PRODUCT ID: 1967
Is there a controller - such as a joystick - available that I would be able to connect to this device to control the X and Y motion? I'm not necessarily looking to program it's motion, just control it on-the-fly as needed.
Ideally looking for a remote solution that will allow me to be 100-300' away from the actual pan-tilt head with the controller.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Mini Pan-Tilt Kit - Assembled with Micro Servos PRODUCT
The servos that drive the pan/tilt are standard RC servos. So they are compatible with any radio control systems designed for model planes/cars/boats etc.

Re: Mini Pan-Tilt Kit - Assembled with Micro Servos PRODUCT
Oh whoa! So this product:

Actually has a wireless RC receiver? Or in either case I could pair it with, for instance, this product:

...to have a complete functioning system?
Is there a way to keep the control wired instead of wireless?
Thanks so much for your quick reply!

Re: Mini Pan-Tilt Kit - Assembled with Micro Servos PRODUCT
It does not have a receiver built-in, but the servos will plug right into any standard RC receiver.
I don't know of any off-the-shelf hard-wired options. It would be pretty simple to build using something like an Arduino and a joystick. But some coding would be required. I would imagine that there are similar projects posted on the web somewhere.
