HT16K33 Breakout and 5 digit bubble display

Hi there, I will receive a 5 digit bubble display (old HP calculator style stuff) and wonder if it is possible to hook up this little thing with this breakout and how it could be done? Have found examples to hook up four 4 digit bubble displays, but don't need that much numbers, just exactly five digits.

Do you have a picture of the device or perhaps a model number of the part?

yes, I found that yesterday but needs too much pins, as far as I can see. Just want to use the HT16K33 breakout to reduce the # of pins.
