Hello,
I have been trying to get my atmega32u4 breakout board to work properly. I have been through the ladyada.net tutorial http://www.ladyada.net/products/atmega32u4breakout/, as well as this tutorial http://forums.adafruit.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=23266 and have not been able to get the board programmed. When I power the board up the power led is green and steady and the boot led is red and never stops breathing. I am running linux. I have tried programming the board with both the standard avr109 as well as my bus pirate. With the bus pirate avrdude indicates that the chip is successfully programmed, but when I cycle the power the red boot led just keeps breathing.
At first I thought that I may have simply received a bad board, which happens. So I ordered another board just to test and had the same results. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
