USB Boarduino

Post by Wheeljam »

I purchased a USB Boarduino, but I am unable to load any sketches on it. Not even the sample blink one. I keep getting "avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00". Also only the red LED is on.

Double-check the Tools->Serial Port menu to make sure you have the right device or COM port selected.

And what board-type do you have selected? It should be Duemilanove w/ Atmega328.

Is there any LED activity at all on power-up or when you press the reset button?

There is brief LED activity on the TX and RX LED's. None on the green LED.

It sounds like you may be missing a bootloader. Please contact [email protected] with a link to this thread and request a replacement Boarduino processor chip.

WOW, not many businesses these days have customer support or service on Sundays. As an over the road truck driver, away from home weeks at a time, I appreciate that. Thanks guys
