Gemma Overheating
What is the problem when gemma overheats from computer USB cable? The gemma overheats when I connect to computer to change code. It burnt my fabric.

Post a photo showing your hardware and connections and we'll take a look. 800x600 images usually work best.

What is this thread connected to?
It seems to be in contact with the 3.3v pad.

Re: Gemma Overheating
It looks like your data thread is crossing over the 3.3v solder pad. It is also perilously close to the metal top-plate of the switch which may be grounded.
These threads are not insulated like regular wires, so you have to be careful about how you route them. If they cross or touch other parts of the circuit they can cause short circuits which can result in overheating or other undesirable operation.

Re: Gemma Overheating
Thank you so much. I stitched the wire away from that part and I stitched a small piece of fabric to separate the second data line that runs over the gemma. I will take extra care on my second scarf to keep parts secure and separated. The issue seems resolved.
