quick project: ambient temperature display

I wanted to share a quick project using one of the adafruit RGB LCDs.

It's an ambient temperature display -- it displays the current temperature and will adjust the LCD backlight color depending on where it falls.




It's a really simple project -- just wire up the LCD and a temperature sensor.

Nice use of the RBG backlight

Very cool... You could also make it watch trends and flash red for temp rising, and blue for temp falling. The more that I think about it the more good ideas come.
