tray for Arduino boards

Post by wiremanflash »

Is there molded plastic (PVC?) tray available for that 2.1" (54mm +/-)dimension of the arduino board? I see that the Uno, Due, Mega all keep that dimension, and I suspect it's a common one in Europe, but I'm not finding anything. Have any of the Arduino shops had any custom made or anything? It's the handiest stuff since....

Here's what I have found, (if you're wondering what I'm talking about) it's nowhere near the right dimensions.

but the images are pretty lousy. I think a better description might be "Snap-in mounting channel".

I haven't seen channel in that exact dimension. I'm not sure where the original board dimensions came from, but the newer boards all keep that dimension (and header configuration) primarily for shield compatibility.
