Arduino Mega ADK USB Error

Post by Gill »

Hi,

I purchased Arduino Mega ADK in December 2013; order number: 390718. I was able to work on it briefly, run blink program and set digital outputs and read analog in. It stopped working now. I am not able to upload a sketch; even the blink sketch. I am using Windows 7. I re-installed Arduino IDE. I have made sure that board selection, COM port etc are correct. After all this I am still not able to upload the sketch. It shows the message like following (Tx, Rx LED on the board don't blink anymore):
avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00

Thanks,
Gill.

Try a different USB cable and a different USB port. Try connecting through a self-powered USB hub as well, if you have one.

Thanks for the reply.

I tried with another USB cable. I also used 12v adapter as power source. I tried on three different USB ports. The problem still exists. I will email the pictures of the board as I am not able to attach to this thread.
Thanks
Gill

The forum software has a 1M size limit, but 800x600 tends to be a good size.
