HELP: Pin connections with ADS11115 and the Data Logging Shi

Post by cmccoy21 »

Hello,

I'm interesting in connecting the ADS1115 ADC (https://www.adafruit.com/products/1085) to my assembled data logging shield (https://www.adafruit.com/products/1085).

When making the connections to the SCL and SDA pins, can I simply connect to the those pins listed on the shield as SDA and SCL? Also, will this result in a loss of functionality of pins A5 and A4?

Thanks!

SCL and SCA are just A4 and A5 in a different location on the board. If you are using them for i2c connections you can add other i2c devices as long as they have unique addresses.
