Arduino micro ports on Mac

Post by rick5 »

I just got my micro but when I load up the Arduino environment the only ports available are bluetooth ports and nothing will upload to the micro board. I'm certain I'm missing something very simple and basic here but any help would be greatly appreciated,.

TIA

You may have gotten a couple of charge-only cables.

Those only have two conductors in them.. VCC and GND... and no data connections at all. They're pretty common with all the devices charging from USB these days.

thanx...that's good to know. I kind of always assumed that those connectors were used mostly on phonez and cameraz and I just took the data lines for granted.

thanks again,
R.
