I recently got an Arduino Uno from you guys and I'm having trouble installing the driver on my Windows 7 computer. The board itself lights up with a constant green ON and a blinking orange L. I have done the posted fix of manually installing the driver via Windows Control Panel and every time I get Error 37:
Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver. I have also tried restarting, using different usb ports, and using different USB cables. Also if I set Windows to automatically update it says the driver is up to date despite not being installed. And no multiple COM selection is available in the Arduino IDE.
Please help.

Re: Error 37
What version of the IDE are you using?
What version of Windows?
Error 37 is not one we often see with Arduinos. It is usually due to a corrupted driver file. You can try downloading them again from Arduino.cc.

Windows 7 Home Premium Server Pack 1 64 bit
I've tried version 1.0.6 and 1.5.8 and they both had the same problem. I even completely uninstalled and redownloaded the driver.

It sounds like the UNO is acting normally and correctly identifying itself as an UNO. Not sure why the driver is failing.
Open Device Manager and pull up the properties window for the UNO.
Click on the Driver Details button to show which driver files are being used.
Post a screen shot of those two open windows.

Re: Error 37
I figured it out.
Some of my Windows 7 system files corrupted and I ended up having to reformat. After the fresh installed of Windows everything worked fine.
