Adafruit OLED on a ChipKit - anyone done it?

Someone posted something once but it's gone(not at the post's URL- gets 404 error).
Anyway, if someone has actually got an Adafruit OLED, and in particular, the SPI interface to run on a Chipkit please post how to do it and what changes were made to the Adafruit Library or whatever library to make it compile and work. I'm sure many of "non-experts" including myself would be very grateful.
