I'd like to know what fitting standard the AdaFruit Flow sensor uses. On the product page it says it's 1/2" NPS (so straight thread), elsewhere on Adafruit it says it's 1/2" NPT (so tapered thread), and on the manufacturers' spec sheet it says G1/2" (so something completely different).
In my set-up I have a 1/2" NPT fitting, but it's leaking quite bad and originally though that the flow sensor threads were just too short for my connection, now I don't know.
From my understanding:
NPS - Straight thread: Need to use a garden hose like gasket
NPT - Tapered Threaded: Self seals as you tighten, no gasket needed
Anyone know for sure what I should be looking for?
Thanks.

Re: Flow Sensor Fittings
I believe the last time we went through this question it was determined to be NPS but I'll check.
