32x64 Matrix Text Display is Yellow Across Top Half

Post by wwhite »

I'm using a 32 x 64 aka 32x64 4mm matrix display. Using the testshapes_32x64 demo the top 16 rows and 64 columns are yellow. I can read Adafruit in white within the yellow. Row 17 thru 24 appear to have 'LED MATRIX' and 'dafruit' overwriting each other. Row 25 thru 32 appear to have 32 x 64 and LED MATRIX overwriting each other. I checked my connections twice and verified the code on GitHub. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? Thanks in advance.

I printed a single white pixel and the top half of the matrix shows my single white pixel in white and the remaining 16 x 64 pixels in yellow. The bottom half 16 x 64 pixels are off. Any thoughts?

I tried this with a second Arduino Mega and I get the exact same results!

Could you post some photos showing your hardware and connections please? 800x600 images usually work best.
