Connecting to unused Arduino pins once a shield is connected

Post by CamDaMan98 »

I attached the Arduino Wave Shield to my Arduino, and I want to connect some things to the pins on the Arduino that are unused by the shield. Do I solder directly to where the pin headers are sticking up through the shield, or can I use the row of empty pin holes next to where the headers stick up?

You can use the breakout holes next to the header pins.
