Hey it uses a BA662A so....
Just wondering if any of you have these schematics and assembly guides tucked away in a box somewhere. I was thinking of making one of these. I've got bits and bobs of this and the percussion synth but I don't have the complete picture for this one.

Google
I think I've have seen it out there..
If you can't find it check out the TR808 clap section, its is basicly the same thing. I have it on my drive somewhere , I looked for it to show you but ... I forgot the name of the file
The 909 clap is pretty much the same. Roland liked to recycle. Go with the TR series clap - you might end up with complete drum kit!!
I have built the 808 voices with drum triggers.
Build a drum pad with a piezo then connect that to a amp with adjustment for velocity, tap that signal to a comparator to produce a trigger.
Its all quite easy , let me know if you need any help

yeah yeah google. I only found partials, not the whole thing. that's why I was hoping somone had some old pdf or paper copy.
If you have no objection I'll hit you up with that help when I get to this. From what I can tell it's not an overly complicated circuit but I'm hoping to make some mods to it like use 6110 instead and a few other bits. I just don't have that level of knowledge when it comes to that.

No objection
I will post up a schematic with the ba6110 in place of the 662.
This is a project I am doing already so its no a problem , I have finished most of the layouts for the 808 but not the clap/maracas.
I will have PCBs for the 808 as individual modules later around may..... after I finish a few other (insane) projects , which I almost have.
