Hi,
I made three sets of these end caps: one for a x0x I sold, one for my own x0x I'm keeping, and I have one set left over so I'm offering them for sale.
I started with a nice piece of poplar wood. I hand-routed the internal shape and cut the outside shape with a table saw. I sanded, sanded, and sanded to get them pretty, then I used mahogany-color wood dye and many coats of polyurethane to get them nice and shiny. I've probably got 8 hours of time into these.
Installation involves simply drilling two holes into each end of your plastic x0x case, then removing the front panel so you can hold the nuts as you tighten the screws. I'm including a set of black hex screws and nuts for installing them, as well as an allen wrench for the screws.
