ha no doubt, mpc500 > tr707
if you really got it for a killer deal you could resell it for profit and move up to an mpc1000 and then run the JJ OS and you will end up with an absurdly powerful sequencer at your fingertips. but I'm sure an mpc500 will blow the speakers apart anyways, in a good way, congrats and have fun!!!!!!
