How to add on-board memory and battery?

Hi, I'm not an ECE student much less know any idea on what I'm doing - except I know what I want the end product to be like. So I'm wondering if it's possible to add an on-board flash memory as well as a battery? If so, can I ask for a step-by-step procedure on how to do it? Many thanks!

Anyone? Hello? This is the right place to ask questions right? I saw the aldruino tutorial and the special assignment was to add battery to it. Well, I'm wondering if there's a way to do that for the ybox2 as well.

It has on board EPROM
