Hi !
I am building a Laser Harp Project and I have just found one product that i m interested in.
http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_ ... fbdca2d7cf
I wanted to ask you how is it connected with the arduino ???
as i see in the photos the analog pins (basically all the pins of arduino)
are closed cause the Wave shields is above them.In my project(Laser Harp)the
analog pins are needed and i'm kinda comfused by the picture.
This is a video of my project
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_mzaV2J ... r_embedded
Can you tell me if this product will work with my project ??
Thanks in advance !
( For your notice i m completely amateur )

The analog pins are available for use. There are solder pads on the board for your convenience, or if you prefer a socket, you can build the shield with 'stacking headers' http://www.adafruit.com/index.php?main_ ... ucts_id=85

After i install the Adafruit Wave Shield for Kit - v1.1 i think that it might be very dificult to read and play data from an SD card. Am i right or is something very easy ? I m asking you this cause i m not good with programming.

Re: Arduino Adafruit Wave Shield for Kit - v1.1
There are many programming examples on the web page that show how to do this: http://www.ladyada.net/make/waveshield/examples.html
There is one problem you might have using this for a laser harp. The WaveShield is not polyphonic. It can only play one sound file at a time. If you want to play two sounds when two strings are plucked, the WaveShield will not be able to do it.
