hacking afmotor to short dc motor terminals

Post by alnitak »

Greetings,

I want my motor terminals to short together to brake the motor when using the Motor Shield. It seems like the current AFmotor library just removes the voltage from the terminals when a release command is issued. Is there a way to modify the code to have another command, say "stop" that will short the terminals and cause motor braking?

Cheers,

Pete
