Motor Shield causing Computer Crash

Post by djaswal »

Hey,
I added two SN754410 and now whenever I try to turn on the motor, the arduino crashes my computer. The motor does what its supposed to before the computer crashes. I have tried connecting the arduino to 9V external battery and this makes the arduino is responsive for couple of more commands before it becomes unresponsive with solid green light. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks a lot

What code are you running and have you tried running the code without the motors attached? How is it all connected and how are you powering it?

the arduino crashes my computer.
You mean the PC you are using to program it? That is very unusual.

What motors are you using and how are you powering them?
