8-pin female header for GPS shield

Post by virtualbrooklyn »

I solder the 8-pin female header into the TXT, RCV, PWR location and not into the digital breakout location. I tried to desolder it with a braid but was not successful. Could I use the current connection to do the jumper cables to the digital ports with the 8-pin female? I am attaching the photo.

Thanks

You can still make he connections. Just solder the other end.
For more flexibility (in case you want to re-configure the pin assignments) you can add some of these to the breakout locations and jumpers from header-to-header.
