Wave Shield I/O error 6,0

We're using five Wave Shields to play bells in the Santa Barbara County Courthouse clock tower:

Four of the bells ring fine all of the time. One bell periodically goes silent. I took a laptop in this morning and got this error code from the serial monitor: "SD I/O error: 6,0". Looking in SdReader.h, is this error "card returned a bad CSR version field"?

Any ideas why the card would run for days, then fail with this error? A power cycle restores operation on the card. All cards are the same brand and size in the other four Shields.

Sounds like the timing on the card is marginal. You could try the remedy proposed by fat16lib here:
