I am brand new to the Arduino world. I am more of a hardware guy than programmer.
Here's my situation I hope can be resolved here.
I need to put together a package that I can send up with a high altitude balloon that will log gps, temp, baro pressure and humidity (?). I've made several successful ballon flights to take photos, but not logged data.
I have an Arduino Uno and am looking to get the GPS Shield here on Adafruit. For GPS I think I need to go with the Trimble Lassen IQ http://www.sparkfun.com/products/163 for >60k use, but do not see info on how to interface it with the GPS Shield. My APRS tracking system uses the same GPS.
I also have no clue how to interface the senors.
To top if off, I have no clue how to code it to do all of this.
Basically I have no clue....
As much as I'd like to work through the project myself, I am under a time crunch to get the launch off before school is out. So I have approx. 10 days before launch.
Can anyone point me to all of the bits and pieces I need and what code needs to run?
