Arduino Mega 2560 R3 with Adafruit Mega Protoshield

I didn't realize that the Adafruit protoshield for sale:

Is not the current shield for the R3 mega:
http://store.nkcelectronics.com/MEGAshi ... p_309.html

Now that I've already ordered it and it is on its way, what issues will I have using the shield with the Arduino Mega 2560 R3?

That protoshield works on the R3 Mega with no problems. It does not have the 4 new pins (duplicate SDA & SCL, IOREF and a spare).
