waveshield and debouncing problem

Hi
I'm not sure if it's a problem particular to the waveshield or the library but when I use a button trigger based on the audio player example and press the button again while the file is playing it starts over the sounds right after..
hope I'm clear enough.. basically for my project I use a button to trigger a sequence of events that last about 30 seconds. if the user press the button again while the sequence is playing it makes it start over the whole thing right after it's done and I'd like to eliminate that behavior. is there a way to disable completely the button so he can't take any input while the sequence is playing ? I wonder if it's something related to the debouncing function..
any ideas ?

You are checking the switches in the background via timer. You either eliminate the timer and call checkSwitches() in your loop, or you can just clear the button state at the end of your sequence instead of at the beginning as you are doing now:
