Can anyone suggest where to find external antennas suitable for use with the Adafruit Ultimate GPS?
I would prefer an 'active' antenna, but would be happy to find more info on the range of choices,
sources, etc. If you are are using any kind now I would like to hear about your experience and/or
recommendations.

Stupid question. I have your active antenna. How do I power it?
Where's the datasheet?

On the product page, at https://www.adafruit.com/products/960 it has 'description', 'technical details' etc, click technical details, and then there's a link to the datasheet right there, under the RoHS thing.

Thanks for pointing that out, I didn't know where to click.
Unfortunately, I read it, and I don't see anything about how to power it.

Re: External antennas for Adafruit Ultimate GPS Breakout
I don't know exactly how it works, but it receives power from the gps-receiver. So, the gps-receiver needs to support active antennas, and these days that's pretty much all of them.
I haven't looked very far, but a quick google turned up: http://www.gpsnuts.com/mygps/gps/LEI%20 ... 0GM100.htm
there's also a 2nd page there with active antenna #2.

Re: External antennas for Adafruit Ultimate GPS Breakout
Also, on the product description page for the Adafruit Ultimate GPS Breakout it says it supports an active antenna, so it's really just as simple as connecting one to the other.
So I'm not suggesting you go and put a lot of extra power between them, or something. (just in case you break it with that )
