Ok just a query really, is it possible to get the wave board to convert text to speech.
Essentially what I want to do is have an LCD screen that displays text that will also come out as audio.
The solution is to record it it prior and save it a .wav file however there will be multiple parameters that will change so short of recording every possible outcome can I get the arduino to calculate it then present the results in a format that the wave shield could produce a voice from it?
Cheers

Re: Text to speech
The simplest solution is the Emic 2 board works with the Arduino and provides reasonable sounding Text to speech

I'd have to agree with ennbr. Unless you need a specific voice, the Emic 2 would be the easiest way to do this.
