@Shug White and you have the library installed in your sketchbook/libraries folder? What do you see when you go to Sketch > Import library? Do you see it there?

I can get the code to load now but there is still no power coming to the board that makes any induction reading at all.

There was a tutorial that told me that if I'm using the leonardo board with this rfid reader I should break the contact at pin2 and IRQ pin
*This is where I'm messing up...I have to solder the wire to 'Pin 4 or above' and not just break the connection between IRQ and 2...
Sorry for being a noob, thanks for the help...will follow up with success
