Wave Shield Trouble

Post by ctyvdz »

Hello, i have soldered this shield and compiled and ran a program to play a wav file off the SD card.

I am getting an error in the serial monitor that reads " SD I/O error: 1, FF "

i have looked at the soldering and it all looks fine. the only thing i can think of is that the polar capacitors might be soldered the wrong direction, although i doubt that is the case. is it worth checking the direction of the capacitors for this problem?

here are pictures of the top and bottom of my shield:
thank you so much!

The soldering looks mostly OK. Can you get a better shot of just the SD card mount solder joints?
