Proto Shield - is the ICSP connector used with a Diecimila Arduino?

The directions do not show it on the Diecimila Arduino photographed, but it is shown later being soldered in.

So the question is whether to install the 3-pin female header on the ICSP connector (would appear to go second set of pins inward on the Diecimila Arduino) or to leave it out?

While I have the iron hot....

for the diecimila you dont need to install it (although it wont hurt) because the reset pin is on the long headers.

the NG, however, it is necessary.
